You got that right…. chips and queso should just be added to the food pyramid.
I’m actually half Korean, not half Mexican. My love for Mexican food is very strong. I needed a snack yesterday and while I should have gone for the almonds and mini cheese wheel, I decided to go for queso and chips. We all have our days.
I had a hard time getting motivated for anything yesterday. Again, we all have our days. I struggled with doing anything, but decided to put on my work-out clothes and see how I felt. I have plenty of life things that need attention, but sometimes a good work-out to clear my head is what I need to get energized and focus on other things. Sure enough, I decided to hit up Zumba and not run yesterday. I am SO GLAD I went. The music and fun was exactly what I needed. It was a great class. I seriously can not say enough about my Zumba instructor. She is so fun! I have been thinking about maybe getting certified to teach Zumba. Crazy talk? I don’t know…… I’m looking into it though. I will be out of town for the next certification class near me so I have a couple of months to decide. I should probably ask my instructor what her experience has been like.
Since I didn’t accomplish much yesterday, I woke up today feeling ready to tackle some house stuff. The playroom alone is my Everest. It got organized though before the kids had their play date and surprisingly it didn’t get destroyed. Although….we did lose a curtain rod….. more like it got ripped out of the wall. The cost of play date fun. 🙂
The kiddos had a great time and they loved their Shamrock shakes!
They even got to make some St. Patrick’s day themed crowns and Super D decided that Dexter needed some holiday spirit.
His face just screams, “I’m getting too old for this shit”. Such a sweet dog.
In other news, I have been thinking about posting a few videos every once in a while. I always wonder what people sound like when I read their blogs and sometimes I just want to talk! This is me getting really annoyed at trying to find a free program to resize my videos:
Looking at this, I think MY face screams, “I’m getting too old for this shit”. Needless to say, I’m still working on it.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
Any group fitness instructors out there with thoughts on starting out?
Any suggestions for free programs to resize videos (MOV files)?
